IMPORTANT SOFTWARE NOTICE

The current version of "BAYCOM" packet communications software is

supplied to you FREE at our expense in keeping with the spirit and

purpose of Shareware. It is not a "part" of the Packet Modem kit and is

not warranted by Ramsey Electronics for any purpose whatsoever.

Ramsey Electronics reserves the right to supply any software of its

choice with the modem kit.

The Hams at Ramsey consider Baycom to be a good program and

encourage you to support the work of the European authors as detailed

on the unmodified shareware distribution diskette which we have given

you.

The product sold and warranted by Ramsey Electronics is solely the P-

IBM kit for constructing a packet data modem. We will replace any

diskette returned to us as defective, but we cannot provide further

information about using any software beyond what is published in this

instruction book for the modem.

If you have questions or problems with your software, simply use normal

ham channels to get help: local clubs, nets, BBS, or write directly to the

program authors listed in the documentation file on the diskette. Again,

we remind you that the authors are entitled to the nominal fee they

request for the use of their program.
